Equipped for Roleplay

This sounds rather silly really BUT seeing as this forum is equipped for roleplaying do you guys think adding a roleplaying forum is worthwhile? I'd have to rework the devious profile and such but having that available may keep people here. I can't guarntee it will but do you guys think it's worthwhile to try it?

I take it you see this as a good idea. I should probably rework the DP a bit since many fields would serve their purpose just as well if put in the basic profile and I'd rather not have a profile meant for RPing be bogged down by arbitrary fields.

To do list:
1) Rework Devious Profile
2) Draft up charter
3) Figure out how roleplaying might work

I'll wait for other opinions for the time being but if I get enough yeses I'll go ahead and make more dice and figure out how this might work.

I actually won't be role playing. I already ascended, so no real point.

Cool idea, but I think guild stuff should be #1 priority.

Well I'm trying to work on things that will keep people active. Some people like that kind of stuff so I want the option open if it keeps them engaged in the guild. I think "Guild Stuff" encompasses all thing related to interaction between guild members. So while not the most important guild thing it is undoubtedly a part of guild stuff.

I have better things to do when I'm procrastinating. Really I'm running out of ideas on HOW to keep people active and this is just one of the last ideas I have. I'm trying to help but whether I'd doing a good job or not is debatable.

Make a rule whereby GMs must be proactive in the guild, recruit members, and maintain it to standards.

Also, recommending role play before we have people to play seems a little backwards.

The role playing idea isn't really bad, but...

How would it work? The story teller would have to be on much more than the players, players would have to wait for other players and the story teller... You'd need to arrange times for people to play.

What game would it be? D&D or some variation? How would all players have access to the rules?

Again though, I'm not interested, but these are hurdles that haven't been address for any other potentials.

Sad as it is I'm on here enough that it's nearly constantly except for the odd day where I have something going on. It's not something I plan to really implement just open the possibility for it. Of course I would work out rules and how it functions and make a post about it when/if the forum dedicated to it was made. These are things I have considered worry not.
