My cat is afraid of bananas

So on my trip home during Easter I found out my male cat is apparently afraid of bananas. As I was thinking about this I have to wonder something. Do you or your pets have anything odd they are afraid of? Or perhaps do you or your pets exhibit peculiar behavior around certain objects? If this is the case have you ever used this object to tease your pet or have you yourself been teased by this object? Let's hear it!

My dad's oldest dog is afraid of any and all types of hard flooring. If there's no carpet he'll pitch a fit and whine and bark when he can't get something that's on said hard floor, almost as if the floor itself is an intruder in the house.

Is your cat also afraid of zippers being undone?

Not exactly pet peeves per se... But I suppose that's an apt summary of what we want to discuss?

The dog I have is both very curious about and very nervous around turtles, whether they are giant snapping turtles or harmless painted turtles. I used to have a dog who would sometimes run away after being startled by her own farts.
