I'm actually not looking forward to the 5* jelly helms- they're going to look weird and throw off my jelly vibe... in other news, while i did sketch out what i think is a fitting logo, i'm not sure if i'd complete it any time soon ever.

lol the 5* quicksilver could give you the look you want... or so I think.

I could still use a sketch. Remember way back when we had to make a logo for a project together? Ah those were the days... I can even still remember his graceful stutter and how he had so eloquently failed to answer questions and was some how able to teach despite having no idea what he was talking about... I used a sketch then don't see how this is different.

Just so you know, I consider myself a reasonably good artist. However, I don't have access to professional tools like Photoshop or Illustrator, though I may be able to secure some time after school to go to my Computer Art Studio class to work on something in Illustrator. For now, I'm stuck with Game Maker's image editor, which is still better than MS Paint.

Draw with pencil on paper...? lol getting a jailbroken copy of an older version of 'shop or Illu isn't terribly hard. I have Illu CS3 myself and that's how I plan to ink out my sketch.

Is totally free and I hear it works similar to PS. Though I tried it and must say I much prefer PS.

I prefer 'shop too, but I fucked up when trying to jailbreak CS4 so now my entire computer has been blacklisted. I can't even get Photoshop CS1 to work. T-T

The explanation for uploading a picture isn't quite clear to me. I tried to do so, but I can't. I asked Nithhogg and others in-game, but nobody told me exactly what to do, so I'm not entering the contest for the logo. So that's an hour of my life I'll never get back. I had absolutely no problems getting it to work ._. There is a "Host an Image" button along the top that looks like a picture with a floppy.... that's the one that posts a picture. Find it ("it" being the picture you want to share with us all) in your computer with the browse button, then click "host it". After that, COPY the contents of the second line (forgot what it was labeled), paste them into your post, and this is what happens.



Alternatively, if you still are having problems I can host it on a dropbox, and then you can post it using BBCode [img] tags that way.

I tried explaining it as best as I could but I guess I wasn't clear enough. I said the name but neglected to mention what the the button LOOKED like or approximately it was in the list of buttons. I should have been more clear and I do hope with this further explanation we can get your image entered.

I don't have a scanner here, so i'll have to rely on my pen tablet and Manga arts studio; i guess now that we all know how to upload pic's here, maybe a preview of what each of us can do is in order, if to at least practice uploading.

for example, i learned that sizing is going to be an issue, since a lot of my digital art seems to scale to infinite pixels large.

I guess if we're posting examples of work, this is a recent drawing I did (you can see it was on college rule |D) and I also colored it using Corel for my Raster Image Drawing class.

Sorry about snapping earlier. I usually try harder to keep my anger away from other people, so I'm not sure what happened with my mood. So, I apologize, and thank you for your help. For real this time. No hard feelings?

Also, if you want examples of other things I drew, you can check neoretro10k.deviantart.com. My avatar for this forum came from one of the pictures I drew and posted there. Incidentally, that picture is the only one I was able to draw in Illustrator because I did it for an assignment in my Computer Art Studio class, and I don't own Illustrator myself. So, the quality of my drawings is hardly ever as good as the quality of that one. Which explains why this logo could be better, but I did my best with what I had at the moment.

I know how it feels to do quite a bit of work you're proud of only to have it seemingly be all for naught. But that's the past and the good news is that you solved the issue. YAY! :D
